On the afternoon of September 2, 2022, Wang Bin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and Vice governor of the Provincial Government of Hainan, led a team to investigate the work of CIRD.

Mr Wang Bin visited the CIRD History Museum, exhibition of historical materials on China's reform and opening up and the library. Prof. Chi Fulin, President of CIRD welcomed him.

A meeting was held on the construction of think tanks and the research on philosophy and social sciences. Mr Wang Bin listened to reports on the work of CIRD’s construction, publicity and publishing, research on the history of China’s reform and opening up, as well as the research on Hainan Free Trade Port.
