The First RCEP Regional Youth Dialogue Was Held
As the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) is about to mark its first anniversary of entry into force, China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), China Daily, and China Oceanic Development Foundation (CODF) jointly organized the first RCEP Regional Youth Dialogue on December 23, with the support of Hainan Reform and Development Research Foundation (RDRF), 21st Century Newspaper and Generation Z Research Center.
Under the theme of “Pooling the Strength of Youth and Promoting RCEP Regional Development”, young civil servants, scholars, entrepreneurs and media reporters from 8 RCEP member countries and international organizations including UNFPA China and ASEAN-China Centre, held dialogues via video link, on topics ranging from "Young People’s Role in Firmly Advancing the RCEP Process", "Unleashing Young Entrepreneurs’ Vitality and Creativity in Investment and Trade in the RCEP Region", and "Giving Full Play to Youth Power in Building Blue Economy Partnership in the RCEP Region".
