During the meeting, the top ten events of CIRD in 2024, the ten major achievements of the Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies, and the top ten public welfare actions of the Hainan Reform and Development Research Foundation in 2024 were reviewed. Leaders and department heads of the CIRD summarized and exchanged views on the new progress made in achieving safe and sustainable development in 2024.

At the meeting, Executive President Miao Shubin and Yang Rui, centering on “Corporatization and Internationalization” delivered reports on “Strengthening Operations to Lay a Solid Foundation for Safe and Sustainable Development” and “Thoughts on Work Development with a Focus on 'Internationalization',” respectively. All staff members engaged in both plenary discussions and group discussions around the theme of the meeting. President Chi Fulin, with respect to re-entrepreneurship and re-innovation to achieve safe and sustainable development, made specific deployments and requirements for the key works in 2025 based on “Corporatization and Internationalization” respectively.
