On the evening of January 22, 2025, Yang Rui, Executive President of the China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), was invited to represent the CIRD at the Knowledge Committee Working Meeting of the World Free Zones Organization (World FZO). During the meeting, Yang Rui engaged in discussions with World FZO CEO Samir and other committee members on leveraging CIRD’s role as a think tank, exploring collaborative efforts with World FZO, and providing intellectual support for the successful hosting of the 2025 World FZO Annual World Congress.

Guo Da, Vice President of the Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies, and Wang Yuehong, Assistant Researcher at the RCEP Research Institute, CIRD, also participated in the discussions.
