On the morning of February 21, 2025, the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress held a special research symposium on the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port. With the theme of "Jointly Building China's Important Opening-up Door - Hainan Free Trade Port as a National Strategy", he delivered a report focusing on three aspects: "Building a Collective Force for Accelerating the Implementation of Core Policies", "Building a Collective Force for Accelerating Key Breakthroughs in Institutional Opening-up", and "Building a Collective Force for Implementing Law of the People's Republic of China on the Hainan Free Trade Port".
