CIRD Delegation Held Discussion with Experts in Kyoto
On the afternoon of August 14, 2025, during the visit to Japan, Professor Chi Fulin, President of China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), held a discussion in Kyoto with experts from Ritsumeikan University, Research Institute of Global 3E, and other institutions. The two sides exchanged views on the current state and prospects of China-Japan economic relations, as well as China-Japan-Korea economic and trade cooperation.
The exchange was moderated by Zhou Weisheng, Professor Emeritus at Ritsumeikan University, Director of Research Institute of Global 3E, and President of Association for Promoting Japan-China Development Inc.. Participants included Ryoji Nakagawa, Dean of Graduate School of International Relations and Director of Confucius Institute at Ritsumeikan University; Marketus Presswood, Assistant Professor at Temple University Japan Campus; Gao Mingfei, Founding Partner and Director of Beijing De Law Offices; Nakajima Reika, Chairman of Research Institute of Global 3E; Yang Rui, Executive President of CIRD and President of RCEP Research Institute; Kuang Xianming, Vice President of CIRD and Vice President of RCEP Research Institute; Guo Da, Executive President of Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies; and Liang Hui, Secretary-General of CIRD–GRANDALL Center of FTP Law Studies.
