On the afternoon of August 21, 2025, during the visit to Tokyo, Japan, Professor Chi Fulin, President of China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD), led a delegation to Japan Center for Economic Research (JCER) for a discussion and exchange. Kazumasa Iwata, President of JCER and Former Deputy Governor of the Bank of Japan, extended a warm welcome to CIRD delegation. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on key issues, including economic growth and structural transformation in China and Japan, bilateral economic and trade cooperation, the China-Japan-Korea Free Trade Agreement, and RCEP.
