On the morning of August 29, Yang Rui, Executive President of China Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD) and President of RCEP Research Institute, led a delegation to the RCEP Support Unit (RSU) in Jakarta for exchanges. Taufiq Arfi Wargadalam, Executive Director of RSU, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The two sides held discussions on topics including RCEP upgrading and expansion, as well as institutional development.

Also attending the meeting were Chen Wei and Kuang Xianming, Vice Presidents of CIRD; Guo Da, Executive President of Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies (HIFTPS); Wang Hongsen, Secretary General of HIFTPS; and Wang Yuehong, Assistant Researcher of RCEP Research Institute, CIRD.
