Michael Zhang, Consul-General of the New Zealand Consulate-General in Guangzhou Visited CIRD
On the morning of 23 March, Michael Zhang, Consul-General of the New Zealand Consulate-General in Guangzhou, visited CIRD. Professor Chi Fulin, President of CIRD and President of Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies extended a warm welcome to Consul-General Michael Zhang and his delegations. The two sides engaged in discussions on topics including the construction of the Hainan Free Trade Port, RCEP related issues and think tank cooperation.

Yang Rui, Executive President of CIRD accompanied them on a tour of CIRD’s History Museum and Research Achievements on Hainan's Reform and Development Exhibition Hall. Participants in the meeting included Paige Kawana, Deputy Consul-General of the New Zealand Consulate-General in Guangzhou, Li Qifan, Public Affairs Officer of the New Zealand Consulate-General in Guangzhou, and Lin Fen, Project Specialist at the Center for International Cooperation of the Hainan Institute for Free Trade Port Studies.
